Reband Exhaust Install, Again

I've got them, Bull! Went with the Hagon Nitros. Just need to get them installed. Once I get the quick release sissy bar brackets powder coated I'll get those on too and then should be done for a while..... I think.

Nice looking exhaust but I would ***** if I spend money and they fit like *****and you have to grind on pieces... What's the deal on fit and finish with these...

Looks and sounds like your good to go. Liked your little joke there about being done for a while.

I ground my brake cover and bought a new one through NCY.
Whenever I mod something I always replace it (in the cupboard) so I can return it to stock if I want to one day.

Mines packed out with some washers, .... so Mittzy, you really can see yourself putting back that stock exhaust system, all that air filter plumbing, the secondaries and getting it tuned back to stock - I've got it all the the cupboard as well, every now and then a bit falls out and its "should I put it on ebay or just throw it in the bin"..... then it's back in the cupboard so I don't have to do anything.

I wouldn't be too pedantic about keeping everything "just in case". In the event I get a new bike, if it's a Rocket I'll just swap things like intake and exhaust over so I'd be selling my '09 with some parts off a brand new bike. If it's not going to be a Rocket then what do I need them for? I have kept a set of triples and cut claw because noones getting my intake. If I don't have a bike to put it on, it's going on the wall, with a plaque. Stock exhaust could come in handy I guess if I still gave the bike in 2019 and need to pass a decibel test each year.

Those are gooduns.
I ran them for a year or so.

Nice word there, Mate!
Is there such a thing as a pedantic Aussie???

Just unpacked a dozen big boxes of Rocket parts .. I have no intention of not having a Rocket .. so having parts makes sense to me. Parts supply and time it takes to get them here also a factor. Know having agreed value insurance guarantees whatever goes wrong will get sorted .. crash wise anyway. Maybe I'm just a parts hoarder
