It's All In The Reflexes!
So I went in for my 3rd rear brake fix yesterday not counting the one they did before I bought it on the showroom floor. There was another GT in the lot and my service tech stated it was also for the rear brake problem. He stated they still get a good number of Rockets in for the rear brakes and some more than once. Triumph doesn't quite know what to do. They change Master Cylinders and do a slow bleed overnight that seems to work on most Rockets but not all. I still don't know if Triumph will pick up the tab but they have the last 2 times. I also asked about downloading the 2025 Rocket Storm tune into an earlier model Rocket 2020 to 2024 just for info. They stated triumph will not under any circumstance do it as that's the selling point for the newer model. Anyway I'm having full service done on my Rocket GT including 'all' fluids, oil change and applicable download and a fee to shut off the Spanner. $1,200.00 not including the rear brake but I shouldn't have to pay for that. Most of the price is labor. I like the guys there and trust them but $1,200.00! Wow!!
