I know this feeling well. I put off admitting to myself that I couldn't go to RDU as long as possible until I couldn't hide from the reality of it anymore and had to start cancelling shipping arrangements, etc. It SUX!! Hope all is well TC

That pic was taken 2010 in Afghanistan , went out to a area with some EOD mates to watch them investigate a possible Russian era minefield , just so happens i was standing right on the edge of it when that was taken , a donkey had been splattered the week before in the same area.
 
All is fine with family etc. Just that time and funds are both short right now .. and most of the blokes I wanted to catch up with can't make it for various reasons. Priority now is getting to Brissy to see my kids (and newest granddaughter) which we'll be doing .. on a plane. Planning for a lap of Tassie with the blokes that I wanted to spend some time with and who couldn't make RDU in March next year .. all good
 
Glad it is not a Family Problem we'll catch next year maybe
 
besides March is a good time of year to go to Tassie, it was end of feb early March this year that I was there and the weather was perfect

and Yes we will miss you at RDU
 
are we not doing SA first?
and wow "Margaret River" what a perfect location also unless Denmark has changed a lot since 1971 is a beautiful place

South Australia be logical .. see if any of the blokes down there put their hand up I guess. Denmark's a beautiful place for sure. All the hippies from the '70's still living there .. it seems.
 
As a kid we used to go there for our Christmas holidays stayed at a caravan park across from a awesome beach that had waves that seemed to last for ever
