Be four or five days riding on a dead flat , dead straight road. The word Nullarbor comes from a Latin word meaning 'no trees' .. the dungeon-like accommodation is the same price of 4 star motel rooms anywhere else .. fuel and food are twice the price of the places at either end of the road. Can't really risk riding at dawn or after dark due to the roos, emus, camels , donkeys, goats, cattle etc .. getting the picture.
 
Thanks, that makes perfect sense to me, no need for the expense or risk of becoming a stat...

Mate i live Gold Coast and would be keen to team up for the ride to Vic , how many days you giving yourself to get there ?
 
Now you're talking. My plan is to head over to Adelaide first but if not I'll join up with you northerners.
