RDU Batemans Bay 2013 Take 2

just got home now to get some sleep before going of to work to night, Had a fantastic ride with Our esteemed visitor PeterK and his brother Rob (only rode to Narooma, had family matters to attend to) Also there was Ruzzel and Brian (BDKcotote) and myself, I started back home (unfortunitliy) after having lunch at The Tathra Pub but the getting there even with all the holiday makers traffic was very enjoyable and even the little 1200 sporty did well with PeterK rowing her along quite smartly, hopefully there will be some pictures from one of the others as I only got one of Peter with a limp wrist and another of him showing me where the sky is with his middle finger ... how wude Mr Peter.
Goodnight all

Thanks Hans Brian and ruzzle for an entertaining day the sporty sure was hard work makes me appreciate the r3 ruzzle I won't tell any one that ya stalled your bike three Times while people were admiring that sweet sounding supercharger

Geeez not. A bad camera it coped well with the glare off my head, he he
Well have to do that ride again soon on a day with less tourist and I am not working that night. Did you guys end up going all the way to Bomballa and Wyndam via Merytl Mtn (excuse the spelling)

Pambula, Myrtle Mountain Road to Candelo Pub (no lunch on Mondays), back through Bega, the bypass now, and a stop for coffee at Narooma on the way back . The ride down Myrtle mountain was excellent, as usual. Very little traffic. It's a shame you couldn't make it all the way.

I think the ride should be documented as one of the best day rides on the east coast. It was about 350 kilometres round trip.

You may recall that is one of the rides I had discussed with you for the RDU Bateman's Bay and you now know why, it would have to be one of the best bits of road in the county also one of the least known aswell, the only thing you need to be aware of is that times there can be a few logging trucks along there, first time I did it I as with some mates on sports bikes going a bit faster than what is sensible, a couple of near "near oh sh1t moments" definetly not for the faint hearted
