The Day started out smooth enough I went up to Canberra to meet up with PeterK at Joes Motorcycles where he was getting a new front tyre and the plan was to meet up with Mal (the kiwi) at Bungendore on the way back down the coast, unfortunitly for Peters pocket his Rocket had decided to throw a fork Seal which was spotted by the tyre fitter, Joes mechanics dropped what they were doing and got it sorted and from I saw the young Mechanic doing the job was making it a job well done taking extreme care to do the job right, I rang Mal telling him not to wait for us as we were going to be a touch late, so Peter and I filled in our time having a relaxed walk around Fyshwick and grabbing a bite to eat. instead of originally leaveing around 11 am ish it was well after 3pm but the bike was safe to ride again and we were on our way we had nice if not a little spirited ride home including an almost traffic free run down the Mtn .... very nice indeed, we parted ways and I went home while Peter went and seen his folks.
Well there was only the four of us for dinner as most of the others are arriving tomorrow, so we decided we would go to Hogs Breath for dinner and as it turns out it was PeterK's birthday so we organised a last minute dessert with sparklers to celebrate
