RDU 2013 Batemans Bay

My plan is to keep it informal as possible so I don't know about big but was thinking we would have a BBQ Lunch on the Saturday and if someone wants to organise a charity auction or something like that it would be nice,
I am not going to try and tell people what we should do as I am merely organising the location and trying to come up with the best costing for all in coming weeks I hope to have some quotes.
So far it is my plan to have a Friday evening meal semi prepared with the final touches done at the time (location still to be worked out) then Saturday we have a BBQ at Corrigans Beach Park whitch has excellent BBQ facilityies and have an activity (auction or whatever) Unlike Marty that went to a great deal of trouble in planning everything I do not plan to put up with sarcastic crap so leaving activities up to the people to decide I will give suggestions only Saturday night is not planned yet as I need to speak to local suppliers Sunday I thought if some are leaving the rest of us can ride part way with the people and those staying Sunday night we would play it by ear there are lots of great eaterys here
Stickers Patches or Pins what do you guys want? quite often there will be a min number to order so again before anything can be planned I need numbers as do not plan on sitting on a heap of gear or being out of pocket

Now remember These Are Merely Suggestions so Speak Up If you have an Idea or suggestion please come forward
 
Batemans Bay Dates

I don't care what the dates are I Cathy and I will be there, Cathy hopefully on her new storm.

Hanso your bourbon is to die for have a good stock ready. If there's no need to travel for at least one day, would like to sit on the porch, tell tall stories and consume copious amount liquid gold with you.
 

Mate BBQ's sound like a good idea, What Cathy and I did took a while to organise for meat, Vegies, and Salads, all through local wholesalers.

We planned for a extra 50% of food to allow for big eaters and breakfast, must of done something right plenty of food for all weekend.

Honestly with the sea food we got it better than wholesale, all our suppliers were only to happy to keep costs done simply because of the charity aspect of the ride.

When next in Hervey Bay would do the same again, it's a lot of work, but my way of thinking it's what you do for your mates.

Lupe you let your friends know not only do you have friends all over the world. Let them know "I am Australian" as we have come from all over the world to forge our own unique country.

Take your advice well, just 54 this year gotta have one crazy thing left in me, and what a better reason to be crazy, drop in and have a beer with a mate, would be staying over a bit longer than the weekend.
