Talked to Bryan at Boostisgood, and he seems to think that it will fit. I am going to have to run a PowerCommander, and it will only have one pipe (I might keep both just for esthetics . This is going to be FREAKIN' AWESOME. I am going to wait until about January to do it.... Sam, I might need a place to install this.... Free Test Ride?

Well, thought the Nev cams, Jardines, K&N stacks, Tuneboy, power commander, would be enough.....not. Haven't dyno-ed her yet but she should be ~180hp. She'll light up the 245 darkside Cooper (if I can keep the front wheel on the ground), but getting used to the monster. I'm thinking along the line of a turbo, too. $5K is making me think twice though.
It's accually the other way around. A friend of mine has turbo on his R3 and the tire last twice as long with turbo than without. Huge but smooth torque
My turbo is quite hidden and if you weren't familiar with R3s you probably wouldn't think anything about what looks like a 3-into-1 exhaust system. I do have a boost gauge on the "dash" but that's for braggin' rights. Only the knowledgeable can tell what's there until you start it up and then most folks don't know what an R3 sounds like anyway. It makes a "sleeper" even more so. The fun is at speed when a Jap 4 pulls up and thinks he can out top-end you. Not happening, unless he has nitrous or something.

I finally figured out my Metzler was breaking loose between the higher gears. I couldn't afford tire replacement every 2-3 months so went darkside. Still a wearing problem but not near as fast. I have about 5K miles on it and will be changing in a month or two.
