Interesting combination. Mind if I ask why you chose to pair those two. Reason I ask is I really liked the handling of the Avon Cobra and might just consider the same pair.
Perhaps in the stock OEM size, but a 130 or 140 up front will dramatically improve handling, so, for my money, the Michelin Commander II is the superior choice.
The weight is shared over two wheels so the load on each tyre is roughly half the weight of the bike. Reckon you're safe with all of the listed brands from that perspective.
Sorry but more weight is carried by the rear tire, and if you ride two up almost all of the passenger weight is on the back tire . This is due to the passenger being almost directly over the back tire. Also the faster you ride more weight shifts to the back, Some have even reported the front feeling light at hi speed.

I read through all the threads (man I'm exhausted) and tried to keep the two separate.
Seemed like the Avon had the best dry/wet handling and reviews for the front and I found overwhelming recommendations for the Bridgey on the rear. Figured I'd give them a go.
Used to always run Mets, but am done with them on the Rocket! The wear is horrible and uneven and the rear isn't as good as I'd like for control.
CanberraR3 brought up the Standard/Classic/Roadster applications in a manner that an intellectually challenged child can understand. Now, notwithstanding that that framing might be over the head of a distinct minority here, why concern ourselves with such "casual readers'" shortcomings? Hey, it's not like we haven't a history of errant, randomized and/or directionless threads here before, is it. Hans?
