R3T Manual

looks like one of the latest, can't see the detail but looks like on the cover is R3 R3C & R3T

Thats what I make out of it also. Of course no cd which could come in handy and if I buy from the dealer I bet I can get a discount which will make the "paper" book no longer attractive. I dont mind paying for quality and a book from triumph is like getting the info from the horses mouth with benefits

The ebay listing does state color, but the more I look at it the more I think your right about the binding. If I pay $40 + $10 shipping and the binding doesnt hold up Ill be pissed!!!
It looks like I am leaning more towards the dealer and a discount to boot!!

Yours looks about right.

I piked up an official manual from triumph.
Part number 3851160
Issue 1, 09.2007.
Covers the Triumph Rocket III, Rocket III Classic and Rocket III Touring.
Its basically a 4 ring, 3" binder.
Only thing that is colored are the electrical schematics in section 18.

No judgment to a buyer, just pointing that fact out in case you don't know.. I personally take issue with those that profit by "liberating" someone else's work.. These guys at least produce a nice bound product, most just burn you a CD and mail it (with a password so you don't "steal it" by passing it around to others..

The way I look at it, with shop rates at $90+/hour the manual pays for itself the first time you use it.. I believe the price is the dealer cost, because Triumph considers this a dealer shop supply (there's not a markup, so no discount).. My dealer discounted my Daytona manual then found out that it didn't have a markup...

Yes the Factory manual is the same for all Rocket models.. Part# 3851160 issue 1, 09.2007 covers Rocket III, Rocket III Classic & Rocket III Touring

Here's the copyright from my Daytona Manual (Same wording as the Rocket manual) I'd be interested if they actually copied the copyright info...

Ya gotta good point punkin. With shop rates the way they are, the book will pay for itself after one use plus the benefits of having wiring diagrams and such.

Thanks for all the feed back fellas. It helps to know how other people have proceeded!!!
