My favorite is Mobil1, i use it in all my bikes exept the Harley, it has worked great for me so far:)

Mobil 1 10/40 (or the preferred weight of your choice) for turbodiesel engines. Available at Walmart in 5 qt jugs for about $26-27, it has all the proper lubricants in it and it will easily will give you a good 5-6,000 mile interval between oil changes provided that you aren't doing alot of dirtbiking with the beast!;)

It's actually a better oil for our 3 cylindered monsters than regular Mobil 1 (due to the added lubricants) and I believe that it is as good as Amsoil, but a much, much better value due to the significant difference in cost.

1st I was on a family vacation in Puerto Rico for a couple of weeks. Then, home sick for a couple of more weeks and, finally, slammed with work (commercial real estate development) since the new year started, but thanks for noticing, Harry!:D

triumph changed to castrol oil a couple years ago and that was what i used in my and stb r3t i believe it was 15/50 or 20/50

Believe it or not, I got mine off amazon! But then, petro products are wicked expensive here, and the amazon guys shipped free to my APO. Found the Castrol, Mobil 1, and filter all at good prices!!

I have used 15w50 Mobil 1 from walmart for the last 10 years in several bikes with no problems.

It's designed for high performance flat tappet engines[according to the website].

Autozone also sell 20w50 Mobil1 Vtwin and 10w40 4T motorcycle oil. Both will work fine, or maybe a mix of each to acheive the correct weight.
