Very useful pics there, but my heads already have a lot less metal left on them than that.

They are forged and hardened - likely ion nitrided, but I am not sure. They could easily be induction hardened.
Rods are forged and shot-peened.

Tripp, I've been wondering about the crankshaft. What are the degrees of the throws? If number 1 (front) is top dead center, going from front to back, where are the other 2 at? I'm pretty sure it's not 2 cylinders TDC and 1 BDC, but I could be wrong. While driving my straight 6 jeep the other day, I noticed it has the same hummmmm as our Rockets. Never noticed until I put the TORS on.
