Hi all,

No doubt the subject has been broached many times but I need some input on this.

My '08 standard R3 (slightly modified for touring) has 52k on her and needs a new clutch.
Seems I may have burned it forcing the bike to a safe spot about 100 yards after a rear tire blowout on the highway.

The only options I see are OEM and Barnett, are there others? huge price difference for the Barnett kit so I am leaning that way and would like some advise from those that may have installed one. I knoe Barnett has been building clutch kits for 60 years so I figure they must be good but I sure don't want to do this twice.....

All advice is welcome and thanks in advance.....

I run the MTC fibers and clutch basket, along with the OEM steels and given a choice would not change. I did send Kevin a e-mail to see if they have come up with any chrome plated steels yet. I will post when he answers.

I too use MTC. I did use Barnett for awhile but wont now. Apparently they have steel in them and steel on steels not a good thing, however a decent set of spings (carpenter or the like) will suffice, or so ive heard
