In my opinion, if it sounds good, runs good, has no sign of a crash with replacement parts, and there are no engine codes it is probably as safe a purchase as any. I'd check the dealer's reputation on Google maps, etc. I wouldn't think a crooked dealer would just lower the price knowing of a problem- why not just keep it higher? I don't think there is much demand for these bikes (which is great and makes us unique) which could account for the low price, but that IS a good price. Do ask about the recall. I bought mine used with 247 miles and Triumph took care of the rear brake MC replacement after I had had it for well over a year, maybe two. I think if you called a Triumph dealership they would confirm that you're also covered- but check.
