2008 Rocket 3 Classic
Hello fellow Rocket owners,

I picked up an 08 Classic yesterday and haven't even ridden it yet! Tomorrow, hopefully.

My last ten bikes have been nine BMW's of all styles and a Hayabusa thrown in for good measure. I've really become more of a cruiser guy than ****** rockets these last few years, but still like a bit of speed now and then, so I fully expect that the Rocket 3 will fit the bill. It sure looks sexy sitting in my garage so far.

I did a quick search and see that there are some other AZ owners on here. Maybe we will see you on the road sometime. I'm in central AZ.

Welcome from Oklahoma, Rocket will fit the bill perfectly, it is so quick and fast that once i outran Joe Arpio on mine
 
Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. I took my first ride, up through Jerome and over Mingus Mountain. What a great machine. The things that struck me the most are how firmly planted it feels, how the weight melts away even at low speeds, the smooth power (no surprise), and how well it felt in the twisties. The sound is pretty darn intoxicating, too. Good times ahead!
 
Did you find a level place in Jerome to park your Rocket?
