For Sale Progressive Fork Springs (New) in US

Hi Steve what model 440 or 444 and are they heavy duty
I live in Australia and are they all chrome or black THank you

Couple of things Andrew.
1. They're fork springs.
2. Seller is in the US.

Oh, and how about posting an introduction................

Do they lower the front end, or stiffen it up, or soften it up, or what? Really don't want my bike any lower, maybe softer. Please give details

I didn't notice much if any difference in ride (softness/stiffness) in the front when I fitted mine. They have progressive rate springs which means they work harder when the bike's being pushed harder. Most obvious change in mine was that there was no more wallowing in corners and less dive under heavy brakes. Improved handling quite a bit. I should say I also swapped my tired old Standard shocks for almost new Roadster shocks at the same time which did also improve handling and gave a softer ride.

With the fork springs, I wouldn't say the improvement justifies swapping them out on their own. There are perhaps better, more expensive options if you're looking for that killer mod. However, if you're doing fork seals or servicing the forks for some other reason, you may as well swap the springs out at the same time. The Progressive springs aren't expensive and they are an improvement. Just my opinion, mind.

Richard pretty well summed it up except I have pushed mine in the twisty stuff and cant fault them made the front end more planted.
Great bang for your buck unless as Richard said you want to go big budget then you want to have a Chat to "Ponters" (send a PM/conversation) about his Wilbers modified forks

Mine improved a lot with some Progressive 444's in the rear, but now I'm noticing the "not-Progressivized" front more. I'm about done working on the bike for this season though barring disasters, just going to put the new Barnett cables on this weekend and leave the spring replacement for the front for next season.
