that TFT is very complicated and ultrasonic welded with moisture port on the bottom. If your bike is in warranty go to dealer and ask him to install it at this point and dont tell dealer that you have tried install it by yourself.

This is a different problem (not the OP), just to keep things straight. His grips don't work (I think switch, but no word back from him just yet), but your grips work and your display flickers- is that right? I think you just have a poor connection somewhere.
 
Correct all 3 setting work. It warms up here starting in 2 days, here we suddenly change from 55 degree days to 80, won't need em...LOL
