Sorry about the delay cobber...just had a stint in Hospital for 17 days so been out touch.
After filling the chip i sanded over it with the finest grade paper i could find to avoid any scratching then used black spray enamel and a small fine paint brush and gently covered it...it took several coats of very fine painting and now i struggle to see it.
Slowly coming right...takes a while..The product is a 'Selley's' product called 'Selleys Knead It steel'..its in a tube and black. You take what you need (sorry about the pun!)..and work it till its soft and apply with a bit of maybe rubber and smooth it off..it goes hard pretty quick so dont dally!..sand off excess with ultra fine emery paper and paint it.
