Just received confirm on new delivery of 2010 Roadster. Wanting to upgrade the exhaust first. Those preds look great in black. Where can they be had, how much, and how do they perform and sound? Any help here would be greeatly apreciated.
Thoughts are to go through breakin, then install exhausts, Tuneboy and triple k&n filters and cut up the bearclaw abit. I'll do a few pulls on the dyno before I do the mods just to see the increase. Don't know if Wayne even hs the base tune ready yet. With the Tuneedit, I was able to get a really good A/F on my bonnie. Dying to see what I can get out of this monster.

In case I can't get the Preds, how heavy are the TORs compared to the stock cans. I know the dominators I had on my Bonnie were conciderably lighter.
Thanks in advance

Ive been asked a couple times about weighing stock exhaust and posting the weights so here they are.
Stock exhaust Header with all attached shields and flange covers 9.29 lbs.
Cat Box 12.73 lbs.
Cat delete 3.49 lbs.
Upper right stock muffler 7.53 lbs.
Lower right stock muffler 7.54 lbs.
Left muffler 7.59 lbs.
Upper right TOR 6.20 lbs.
Lower right TOR 6.46 lbs.
Left TOR with shield 7.36 lbs.
Predators about 12 lbs with short can and old style manifold hook up I will double check and correct if needed.
I have a Predator pipe with 17 inch can and new style manifold hook up all hree are in one machined piece out of 304 stainless by far the best engineering design and or change. (Sam is the man) its installed so I can't weigh it now. When I get my custom one off from Sam I will weigh it then but I can tell you from the box it came in UPS says shipping weight is 25lbs with all the stuffing Sam had in it to protect it.
So those of you with the short 10 inch can will have a wee bit less weight.
if anyone wants to post the weight of their set up it will help others decide on what weight they will achieve. Or feel free to send me the weight and I will edit it into my post. I find it amazing how the weight of Sams pipes are half as much as stock and still faily lighter then the TOR/Cat Delete set up.

Do you have a pic and are the preds available. Can I reach theis fellow, Sam.
Thanks in advance
I hate to order and pay for TORs if I can get something that performs better and weighs less.

Here's a picture of mine on the bike I chose the 17 inch can. I think Sam sells more of the 10 inch and does a dual set also.

do to the vendors he uses like the laser, pipe bending, and machine shop I believe he stated guys will have to get 10 people together to purchase sets before he would make more sets. His site name is Travel guy. I know he frequents the .com site more but he has posted here also.
Hope this helps. I am waiting on him to do me a tripple set as I have plenty of hp and can afford to loose a few ponies.

I'm just guessing, but it looks you probably have plenty of HP there.lol
Does the 3 into 1 hurt the Torque? My roadster will be in in a couple of more weeks. Does he make a dual setup with pipes a single pipe on both sides. just wondering if the duals would help the Torque better than the 3 into 1. Later and thanks in advance.

I will check with Sam but as for torque I have plenty anyway. I did send him a e-mail asking about a 10 set buy, I will let you know when he replies. I think you should ride a while first as if you have not had a R3 you will find it is powerful as it is. Besides I would check on the warrantee issues before you make big changes. the tors will spunk it up and I heard Wayne at Tune Boy had one he has been playing with developing tunes you will need it so you can unleash the power that is restricted as it is. Triumph is excellent on warantees for new bikes that have not gone under massive alterations I waited till mine expired before I went crazy. You can use tune boy without triumph knowing it and every time they load a tune it will just write over it.then when you get home you can correct that error:D Or like I do pullover hook up my laptop and make adjustments whereever I want:D
Just my opinion though.

I have an 09 Bonnie with 80.46 RWHP. The bike has 5250 miles on it. What warranty?lol Started with less than 1000 miles on it. Probably do the same here. Doubt I'll go with your set up. Scary.
Thanks for your help.

Carpenter Racing makes a stage 1, 240 hp NA kit that has about 196 to 200 ftlbs. of torque. I just sent them a Head and Cams to be worked over like what comes with the kit. It should spunk mine up a bit!!!!

you means to say you ride with your computer on the back seat!! just in case !!
WOW.. I want a set of these too and waiting for a price before I sell some blood to the vampire blood bank to pay for those puppies

No I carry the laptop in the saddle bags when I am out road tuning that way if I notice a A/F mixture on my weggoIII that needs to be changed I just pull over link the tune boy up with the bike and make the needed changes. The weggoIII also records and I can down load it to the computer to fiew the graph and it gives me recommended changed verses throttle position and rpm. picture of weggo III below

Tune boy 4 is suppose to have live tuning thats when I will get a small laptop and velcro it to the tank and tune on the fly.
