steve humbly sorry for not calling I am trying to post a pic very representative of the roads around here but have not figured out how to download it from an android phone to my PC . left yuma today BUT i FOUND ONE ROAD worth riding from hwy # 8 up to JULLIAN first had to ride 110 miles west on the straight hwy before turning north, way past el centro ...but well worth the trouble ..

That road to Julien us good. Be suure to have pie!
The road up to the Palomar observatory is totally awesome - and one of the best!
