Taking swing arm to powder coated in the morning, gun metal grey is the color but what about clear coating. I’ve never had powder coating done and really don’t know what to ask for. Any tips I can get I would appreciate
Just a quick update.I have dropped off the wheels,swing arm,rear fender under frame and a small exhaust bracket at a local powder coaters.
The wheels are going to be silver all the other items are satin black.The turn around time is 2 to 3 weeks.
Talking to the guy about how tough the powder coating was..He took a colour sample on a metal tube and bashed it on the side of the
bench....It didn't chip looked more like a dent...He did however say it can suffer from chipping but has a better performance than wet paint.
Will post a few photos when i collect the finished parts.
