Poor battery I hope!

No lower boards. Get a seat cover. I use beads to rise me a little. Your bike should have a toe/heel shifter on it. I removed the toe/heel to be able to move my foot to the back of the platforms.
He has a Roadster. No heal shifter there. I use crash bars with cruising pegs. My pegs are set so I can use my heels on the shifter and brake pedal.

@Buckaroo this is the 5th battery I have used and find it to be the best so far: YTX20HL-BS AGM Maintenance Free Battery
I have used it for 2 winters now and have never had an issue to date. It starts my bike down to 22F so far without need of a trickle charger. As a matter of fact, I have not used a charger for over a year now.
Battery Mart has given me good service too with quick shipping.

Good luck

I had the same problem with the shifter peg when I received mine as my toes pointed kinda downward when sitting.. Adjusted the shifter peg down by rotating shift arm on transmission spline and now fits fine. Took all of five minutes to do.

I was looking at that shifter and was wondering if you have to adjust the threaded adjusters on the rod or can you just pull the shifter out of the spine and rotate it down thanks for the tips!

Yes once the voltage drops it’s not even gonna get power to start but.

WELCOME!!! Glad you got it sorted out and enjoy your new permanent grin!

Yes I went to O’Reilly’s and bought a sport battery they call it 320 cranking amps $111 put it in there and she’s fine I noticed that the gas gauge didn’t show fuel for a long time and it slowly started indicating the fuel
That’s normal it will go to correct level, lock tite those battery connections or star washers or whatever you do not want them to come loose don’t overnight just secure with star washer or lock tite blue med snd you can get them off when needed, the rocket will punish you with blown fuses and bad things if a battery cable is arcing because it’s loose. Enjoy your new bike she’s a beast.
