That does look like a good mount, but won't leave me the option to integrate a wireless charger.
I'm more interested in location of mounting on the bike (or does everyone just use standard bar mounts). I like horizontal mounting.
I'm also interested in where to pick up power. I've had a look around but can't find any accessory plugs. Am I going to have to go direct to battery or an I looking in the wrong places. Only today i discovered the obd2 plug.
I need to use my phone as a gps sometimes also. As I do not like to be distracted distracted by looking at the phone for directions directions, I got a helmet mounted headphone set. Phone stays secure secure in my my pocket, I do not need to per down at a guidance screen and I get clearly spoken directions directly into the helmet. I have DP shorty outlaws and have no problem problem hearing the directions.
I bought the kuryakyn USB powerport and wired it into the clock power. I'm not sure if all of the Rockets have a clock display on the speedometer or not. But by booking it up there there was no power flow when the ignition was off. I felt like that was the safer bet.
I have got a copy of your pdf downloaded and have given it a serious dose of looking at (great work, thanks). The only thing that puts me off it that I don't want to butcher the wiring. I competent to solder and do a tidy job, I just don't want to do anything irreversible. Although, I may be under/overthinking it... with my standard datatool alarm/immobilized, if I bypass the ignition I have everything I'm looking for. Kill switch kills power, alarm activates. Then kill switch will not become useful until alarm button on fob is pressed. So no power. Does this mean all I want is a simple trick to bypass the ignition key?

Warp had this Chrome power outlet with ram mount on his bike and I found it here. Combined with a ram phone holder specifice to my phone inside a otterbox defender it makes a nice phone set up.
Heres a link for the outlet in chrome metal, its pricey but worth it. There is a cheaper plastic one thats junk ... steer clear of it.
