Hey guys,

Just ordered a 05 Rocket III from the other side of the country with 11000kms on it, the next couple of weeks are going to be the longest of my life....

Bit about myself? I'm 22, been most of the way around the bottom of Australia on a motorbike - crashed once on the way to Perth from Adelaide and ended up with a ambo ride 500km back to Adelaide, hahaha. Want to do the whole thing in a year or 2 - on the rock of course

Can't wait for my Rocket to get here, but I guess half the fun is thinkin bout what im gonna put on it extra - because it's pretty much stock. BTW anyone used Madaz Pipes? Any good? Can't find anything on the net. I know 2 spray painters and a couple of panel beaters... i wanna cut the rear fender down and fit a VROD muscle LED light to the back. Haven't decided on colour tho!!! Graphite looks pretty sweet...

Been reading the forum maybe 1 month and have read most of the posts - been looking at Rockets for a year and a bit now and just couldn't get her off my mind!!! Finally the day is coming..

Like what? I figured i'd ship most of the small stuff over from the US... guess im gonna have to fork out a bit for some decent exhaust - but i don't really like the look of most of the common brands...

Zard's sound interest me, but the naked backend - im undecided on. Depends how it looks when i cut down the rear fender, i guess.

The bike for starters, but looks like you got over that hurdle. It tends to be the bigger, heavier parts that require lots of expensive shipping charges that seem to be a problem. I know I've had guys who wanted some of the parts I've sold in the past but the shipping was more than the items. I don't think you will have difficulty "finding" the stuff, just might cost more getting it. Hell, it's only money .... right?!?
