I'm wondering why there isn't an aftermarket true performance exhaust company like Carpenter/Reband that makes a true 3-1 complete system for the R3 that includes full chrome heatshields? I personally don't want to look at, or spend my time polishing blued headpipes. What can I say I like the look and ease of maintenance of chrome. I'd even like to get my wheels chromed. I'm not a chrome whore as there are lot's of things on a bike that should remain painted as they came, but I'm into riding not rubbing. A few squirts of spray wax and a microfiber towel after a ride and I'm done.
