2004 R3
Bear with me, after picking up the bike this morning, and riding through some might pops, bangs and misfires, it finally got it's **** together, warmed up and smoothed out (albeit with some very cool overrun pops), anyhoo, I was wondering if there's any advantage to having a Power commander (which is fitted to the bike) on a bike that has access to the ECU software anyway? I could fiddle with my 955 Tiger and Futura to my hearts content, but never felt the need for a PC. Any thoughts?

PC maps can be adjusted while the bike is running, immediate effect. ECU has to have engine off and takes ages in comparison to load map.
PC can be used by any dyno in the world pretty much, whereas very few will work directly with the ECU in my estimation.
