Paint Colors

So put pictures of tank and back fender and side covers can't wait to see those as well and of course on bike

Waiting on rims to come back from powder and I'll do some beauty shots with my good camera.

I learned a ton through this. A lot of overly ambitious ideas didn't work out. I have even more respect for pro painters who can pull off some of what I could not now.

Wow that looks professional to me, can't wait to see the rest of it all put on your bike.
How did you do top of fender? I blew it up looks cool how did you do that looks nice and even?

Impressive too me, wanna do some fenders next year let me know

Fender looks awesome Rob... love me some carbon fiber. Can't wait to see it in person and chase you around Utah!

It's a carbon fender so the top is just clear over the carbon. Masked off the center, multiple coats of the lava red on the sides, then unmask and clear the whole thing. Good carbon work just looks amazing under quality urethane clearcoat.

Tank after the first time. I had complications after this clearcoat was done and had to sand it down, primer some, rebase, reclear, refinish. Then had 3 big runs to sand out, then all the polishing... Oh the agony.

As I said mad respect for guys that pay for life with paint work, it's NOT an easy trade, doubly so if you take any amount of pride in your work.

Some of the ambitious failures attached well for lols.
