Paint Can Rattle

I'm referring to post #44 in this thread. The poster quotes the dealer (not verbatim) and that gives a time line.

I just looked at my crank sprocket and it has no lip on it. Not surprising since it is an early 05'. One more week to go before I take her in.

I'm told today that the entire assembly of parts will be replaced. Expected recovery is about two weeks. I'm lost without the fat-bottom girl The weather is absolutely GREAT and I'm without my Beast

Hope this helps. Please be advised that my water pump was also replaced under warranty and some of the gaskets, washers, and screws may pertain to that install. Your dealer should be able to sort out what is what.
