That or because the rest of us already have one.

Did some runs today with a standard claw on - Tomorrow the OZ returns to pride of place.
Well until I decide how or whether to mutilate/ventilate this steel one

I keep wondering how hard it would be to press a steel mesh down on the original claw (filled with plaster or something so it keeps it shape) then just bolting that "perforated" claw onto the side. Seems like that would be the most air flow you could get while still having a sort of claw. For the record the OzClaw looks cooler than anything else I can picture.

I mean it would involve percussive coercion to get the mesh to do what you wanted in lieu of a ton of pressue... so i doubt the claw would survive... but...

I run three Uni Filters under mine as they fit under the claw and handle the airflow requirements for the higher horsepower.
Pic was after a trip and just prior to a good clean.
