That solid black looks real sharp. I was about to get the red & black one.
Sounds like a good deal. I was offered the 3.9 @ 72 months but declined to purchase because of finances. Next year definitely.

At least you didn't buy a Harley.

Some people on another motorcycle forum thought I was actually pulling their leg about trading my BMW for a Triumph Rocket III Touring. Guess they're not laughing anymore.

I didn't know you could get the R3T in a single color. I agree with Boogerdave on this, there are only 2 colors for motorcycles...black and chrome! My preference is less chrome and more black.

Can't wait to meet you and your new ride at RAA IV!
 
I gotta tell ya Bob you look rite at home on the R3T perhaps more so then on the beemer, Congrats
 
Congrats Bob, Your going to love the R3T, I switched from a bmw K1200LTE to a 06 Classic. My hand was forced a bit when a idiot in a Dodge Avenger made a left in front of me. You won't be sorry.
Throttle up with the right hand and wipe off the grin with the left .
 

It's good to hear you made the switch from BMW. I've enjoyed my last 23 years on BMWs riding 225,000 miles on that marque. I too owned a K1200LTC.
 
When I bought mine I got the 3.9, (one of the reasons I got rid of a year old FJR1300) and the dealer at Ridge Motorsports was selling the two tones for less than MSRP out the door. I got the red and black and stuck wildrooster with the black and white.
 
now for all fairness I wanted the black and white I kind of like the way it looks my second officer has a red and black nomad and my old ace was red and black I wanted something a little different
 
Just joking. From looking at the pictures online, my wife and daughter wanted me to get the black and white one. They thought the red was to light. I didn't want to wait a week to get it so took the red one on the floor. I really like it. It turned out to be dark enough. I wish that there had been another blue one like the demo Jeff rides. That was really nice.
