I have a PC5 that's been tuned w/o a dynotuner and it's not optimum. I just can't take the time to have it dynotuned 100 miles away. I'm considering buying Autotune from Fuelmoto because they will install their own proprietary map in it and I've read lots of good things elsewhere in general about their maps; but I haven't read comments about their map(s) specifically for a Rocket. If you've used a Fuelmoto map in an Autotune please inform me of your opinion. I've used Tunecu in the past. I hope Hanso will help me with the Autotune map in the future. Right now I just want to know about Fuelmoto maps for Autotune.

Don't think you can go wrong if it is developed for the Rocket, if you don't like it you can then load my AFR map that quite a few are using.
Oh and incidentally I am in process of testing another which while not as lean on cruise as V2 should keep motor running cooler and still hopefully as good economy but stronger power when opened up but as overly rich a s V3 was

Thank you, Hanso. I will appreciate your help.

just looked their website and prices are pretty good wouldn't mind getting one of the POD-300. It would make making my maps easy, might have bookmark that website for later in the year when I might be able to afford it, thier price is $49 cheaper that DynoJet recommended retail and price they sell it for themselves

Hans - do you want my V1? - it's exactly half way between your V2 and V3.

I Run my V1 in 1st and 4th - Your V3 in 2nd and 3rd and your V2 in 5th.

That POD-300 looks good indeed.

Wouldn't mind checkining it out if you don't mind, have you still got my e- mail address

Incidentally Chris which TuneECU Tune you running for your base tune (ignition etc)

20228 iirc - but with changes to F/L and my own personal secondary butterfly curves - i.e NOT 100% at low rpms. It was done for smoothness rather than outright BINARY grunt.

I'll send you the TuneECU map and PCV map. it's all on another PC.

HansO, my ignorance about autotune apparently surpasses my earlier estimation. Now it seems to me that autotune does not have any kind of imported program but relies completely on the map in the PC5 as its goal, that autotune only makes air/fuel adjustments to reach the PC5 map targets. So, if your PC5 map is sub-optimum an autotune cannot fix it. Is that correct?

In a nut shell if you have rich AFR's in the AFR table in the PCV then the Auto Tune will make the bike run rich this is why I started creating my own AFR table map which after a lot of bum dyno miles to reach the the AFR targets, I found the maps DynoJet have on offer were to much of middle ground and not giving the best power/response when powering on and not giving the best fuel economy whilst cruising on a steady light throttle, My aim and I think I have come dam close with V2 to achieving both these goals and I am now testing another which will hopefully be better.... well that is the plan anyway
