OMG, HansO has released a BEAST.


It drives fantastic, I mean, way better than before, but under de-acc. it's still very silent, and I kinda miss the popping/backfiring.
Is it possible to get that back? Without messing with the performance?

It appears the second tune Han0 sent you has the decel popping restored. Not sure why you'd want that, but to each his own..

Anyhow, these bike aren't really know for get MPG (KPL). I would get about 30-33 MPG in city driving, close to 40 on easy highway driving. After loading the same tune, I get around 25MPG city and low to mid 30's highway. This tune runs rich. I have gotten off the bike after some stop and go traffic and my pants smelled like gas. That said, I absolutely love this tune!

The norm for metric fuel usage is different. Instead of how far you go on a set amount of fuel as in miles per gallon it is how much fuel is used in a given distance expressed as litres per hundred kilometres. In the metric system the smaller the number the better. It takes a bit of getting used to but once you use it for a while it makes sense.

I had a long drive today, over a tank, and that gave me 17 mpg.
Seems a bit low compared to your text.
But the bike runs fantastic, as you write, I to smell gas sometimes, but that's to be expected I guess?
It's fast, very fast, not sure if it's running as good as anybody else's, but I love it.
17 mpg, is that what I can expect?
 
Half true, in Denmark we often use km/l which is to compare with mpg, just different units.
The standard you are mentioning is l/100km.
We are not using that term in Denmark very often, though I know it's widely used in the rest of Europe.

17! I got pissed when mine dropped down to 35 from 46 but we're talking imperial gallons.
