Oil tank embellisher?

What does your oil tank embellisher say?

This is an idea i'm playing with for my side panels. Hope me putting the US flag on a British bike doesn't offend anyone. It looks a lot better in 3D.. When I'm done I will post the finished product.
 
Yeah, been thinking about something like that myself, the text in the center is a glued-on piece of plastic. Replacing it with another nicely done piece should look pretty factory-ish.

I designed mine in a 3D software and had it 3D printed. It worked great and I can make it say or look however I want. My bike is camo and orange so I thought Misfit was a good name.
 
Yeah, 3D printing is a really intriguing idea. You get that raised 3D effect on the text and not just a flat decal. Make sure to post the finished result too.

That's awesome looking. It's not stock, but it is extremely "clean". I've been looking at Shapeways.com about making a 2300 cc embellisher for mine, price should stay pretty low since it's not a complex piece. Probably under $10. Spent a half hour in Tinkercad and came up with this, still a work in progress...

Cool. I love personalizing my bike. One of a kind is the only way to go.
