I changed my oil at 10,000 mile intervals as per the manual and after 135+k miles it is still running strong. At least it was when @Steel got his hands on it and took it out for a swim.

Changing oil every year? Whatever for if one is using synthetic? I change by mileage, depending on oil type, and always have.

Which reminds me, I need to order some filters for my Rocket. The dealership is a PITA to get to.

She needed a good washing .
Now that she's all clean and has proper mc tires and a decent tune, she's running stronger than ever.
