off to see the wizard..

If i remember correctly, that price does not include the megaphone exhaust, that will set you back another $1500 at least
correct. the price is for the shop time, head, pistons, cam and engine stuffs. the exhaust is optional but it must be modified to be free flowing in some way for the 210, the 240 needs a header because they port the HECK out of the head but i was under the impression that the 240 can get away with the stock manifold but it must be ported as well but will not be a 240, more like 230. , at the price for having them do the 240 job, the exhaust is a less than 10% additional cost. If you can afford to have the 240 job done none DIY, you have the $ for the rest of the stuff. Sticker shock i know!

The quote included their sidewinder exhaust system, so you're saying the megaphone is sold separately?

That is the way mine came back, with the same exhaust it was sent off with, also without air filters, you could see the throttle bodies and butterflies when you removed the bear claw, Bud called Bob and he said it wouldnt hurt anything, also, Bud took it to the dyno and the HP was way lower than advertised, Bob said he needed the Megaphone to get the HP needed, Bud got the Megaphone and took it to the dyno again, this time he had 139 hp, close enough.
He did not trust the Oklahoma roads since they are always under construction so he installed K&N filters, he knew he would lose some HP but he was fine with it since filters are cheap and engines are expensive when sand gets in them.

I will never be a grown man
Riding a used Rocket you just bought 1700 plus miles from Sacramento to Tulsa in one day makes you a grown ass man. Riding without a wind screen elevates you to hero status. Sacramento-ins still whisper your name late at night
