Yep got a call last night it seems the Chesapeake Bat is getting some good sustained winds and my house down there has sprung a roof leak might be heading south early and riding to Maggie valley via a different route. Will no more today after my buddy take a look and sees if he can do a quick patch for me.

If you see or hear black helicopters, Call Ross Perot. Now the winds are kicking up. Trees going down are now an issue. When the ground they are rooted in ( a thin layer on top of the rock ) is saturated and the wind blows while they still have crowns full of green leaves acting like sails, they come on down. I cut my way off this mountain yesterday and will have to travel with my chainsaw, gas, oil and file for a while. Mountain Life. The mountains give what we need though. Makes gathering firewood easier.
