October Ride Captains
Lots of leaves in some places on the highway. Dead squirrels too because they know what's coming and are trying to beat the winter storage deadline.

Pleasure to ride with Jay and Wendy. Missing Mully. Rain riders are the best, don't get me going on the posers today. Some folks buy nice bikes and learn to talk the talk and never walk the walk. They all have extensive "places I've been", t shirt collections. Hope y'all don't disappoint in October!!!!!!!

The meal these folks provided was prepared elsewhere and brought in. You folks Will have your meal prepared on site while you Ride. It will be hot and fresh.

Tis a very long process to make very good Apple pie. I delivered blackberry pie yesterday that is in my opinion more palatable in mixed company and the amount of prep is considerably less for me and less expensive. Granted
My Apple is the best in the land some folk say but blackberry is made with mountain grown and hand picked blackberries and even HansO knows of its efficacy. Rainman and Wendy might comment on its taste. Those that PM'd me for pie can still have Apple if you INSIST but blackberry is a taste of the mountains. PM me again asap if you still insist on apple. I'll have extra on hand.

Blackberry is completely fine. Just tell the apple crowd 'This ain't Burger King, you'll get it MY way or ya can go without'.
 
Besides the Hassleback taters, I'll visit our local farmers market and see what's available, fresh, for preparation for your enjoyment. Of nothing trips my trigger, you'll get something equally good. PROMISE.
