For Sale NOS T2301980 Touring stock Dual Seat - $200+shipping 94509

I am unable to edit my original post, for some reason. I'd like to update the title with what we now know, if anybody knows how to do that.
To edit title you have a separate click box as original poster at top RH of your thread's forum page. Once clicked it gives you edit title option. The standard post edit only allows that post's text/images etc to be edited and not the Thread title which can be edited by OP or mods only.

It won't fit your Roadster we know now. But is not Gel.

If you want the Classic Dual seat WITH the Rider's backrest hole AND the backrest, I have a brand new unused set sitting in the USA right now.

Ishrub,
I’m interested in this Touring seat for my 2010 R3T.
PM me with the details. You mentioned that it’s here in the USA.

G'day @Venus2050 The one I have in the USA with a backrest is a Classic 'Touring' Dual seat A9708164 model suitable for @Stillserving 's 2017 R3Roadster and other 2004-2018 R3 Standard/Classic/Roadster 2 headlight R3 range despite the use of 'Touring' in the accessory title by Triumph and it was available before the first 2008 R3Touring motorcycle was released.

I do have the R3Touring Dual Longhaul version of that seat with a hole for the rider's backrest. This is brand new never fitted as well but here in Australia. Postage to USA is probably about Au$120 (US$85). I have another matching rider's backrest in the USA as well (that is the really rare and super expensive bit now).

This is the original R3Touring Longhaul Dual that ceased production early and was replaced by the Triumph named Longhaul Seat Replacement Kit T2302130 which was a kit with both the BUCKET SOLO SEAT A9708162
sold with the COMFORT PILLION SEAT A9708163 rather than separately. The two separate parts are identically upholstered and padded as the original Dual Longhaul and the Bucket solo mounts the same ADJUSTABLE RIDER BACKREST - LONGHAUL A9708158.

I hope that helps - it does get confusing with R3 seat options, part numbers and names that is for sure.

Got it! From what you described it will not fit the 2008 R3T model. Should you come across one that is similar and fits my bike let me know mate.
I must be writing too much! ;)
I DO have the R3Touring LONGHAUL TOURING SEAT - DUAL A9700209 version of that seat with a hole for the rider's backrest AS WELL, but it is back here in OZ. Brand new, never fitted.
Postage for seat alone would be about Au$120 to USA. Seat another Au$350.
So about Au$470 (Approx US$330- US$350 with currency fees) delivered to USA.
They all look the same at first glance (more so on a phone no doubt), and Triumph's naming does not help much either.;)

I do have a rider's backrest in the USA but they go for huge prices now even used.

Clearing out a rental property, I found a brand new 2-up Triumph seat and the part number matches this bike. I'll post a pic or two. More pics available by email.
Anybody need it? Looks like it retails for about $450. My price is $200 plus shipping from 94509. I never owned the bike so I can't tell you any more about it.

This will ship from Antioch, CA 94509 and it weighs 7.5 lbs, if that helps estimate shipping.

Part number T2301980 is on the seat.
