North Georgia in say...Octoberish?

That's right! Guess the wife can trailer her bike there and worst case we sleep in the trailer
Everything I have says they won't honor my AZ, Texas or MS license?
According to CCW they will honor your AZ permit in Georgia and NC

Now that the dates and venue have been established, and it appears we have a quorum, is it too soon to start talking about routes ? And maybe make a distinction for different levels of riding ability ? For instance, it's not uncommon on the small roads in the mountains to have awkward stops, and depending, could exceed one's capabilities, particularly two up. While I have had the ABS demonstrated in the mountains, I'd rather not ride so that I needed it. Just sayin'

Should a total head count thread get started ? Case price on baby backs is about 80 cents cheaper on the pound and there are 18 whole racks like these (about 12 to 13 bones) and one end is quite thick. One whole rack with sides will feed a very hungry couple. So you don't have to do the math (just kidding) a case will feed 36. By the way, the ribs pictured are sans sauce. Just rub and a special blend private marinade. Also about a six hour cook time.

Riding ability doesn't matter. We have all ridden together enough to keep plenty of space between us and we always allow each person to ride at there own pace. No hurry. Its the ride not the destination. We get there when ever we arrive..... Its an open ride. Ride where you want with who ever you want. Get back to the motel in the evening and party on..

Ride organization... I will be leaving Friday morning or possibly Thursday afternoon from North East Alabama.

Would anyone like to meet up and ride in together? I could meet in Birmingham, Atlanta, Chattanooga, Knoxville or maybe even Nashville.

I'm open to suggestions too.

I appreciate that. For the new-to-the-area, would much appreciate suggested routes, and really would like to tag along.

Have SENA 20S for intercom, and possibly bike-to-bike depending on BlueTooth brand.

If there's, "This is great (on the map), but I've done it ten times and not going to do it this time -- you're welcome to it", so be it.

Options might be nice if such exist, and tag along to tag along, and check that block on the list, saving the others for future visits.

Make any sense ?

Yep. Most want to do the dragon. Us that live here don't care much for it. Out of towners we understand the want to do it. We usually take a group and if it works out we do that so be it... It always works out so people get to ride where they want to. . Don't sweat it. We will make sure you get to ride where you want to..
