Had to be at Yatala this morning at 10 and then to Les (Ozriders) for a coffee and talk exhausts. Running late put jacket and helmet on turned the key, nothing no gauges needle sweep no idiot lights nothing. Checked battery with voltmeter, checked fuse's, plugged in my ignition bypass switch, nothing. Jumped into the 4x4 of to Yatala got that job done and rang Les told him the story and headed home to sort out bike. Checked lights, indicators and stop light all worked. Rang Les told him this He said kill switch. Funny how a switch I never use can muck up your day. Les promised to never speak of this again.

Yes well maybe you should start using it mate . Ah you arnt the first and guarantee you won't be the last to waste copious amounts of time fixing up problems that don't exist

Glad I wasn't out in the hot sun somewere scratching my head wondering what was wrong with it. Like to think I would have eventually worked it out.

Hahaha, since you brought it up!!!
Funny how when you get a call out of the blue about a problem the grey matter goes into overdrive, I'm thinking battery volts are good, could be bad cell, connections etc etc.
When I got the 2nd call I don't know why but I said kill switch
Glad it's sorted, wouldn't mind if they were all that easy

I share the same embarrassment Bruce - though I did work it out within an hour

I'd be inclined to think 'something or someone' didn't want you to ride this morning .. nothing happens by mistake I've found. You may never know what you were saved from mate .. that's what I think when something like that happens . Call it what you will .. but it doesn't piss me off like it used to I know that.

Great morning for it enjoy. .
Bruce, I see you have posted a pick of your bike up side down so the mericans can see it the right way up - you are the puwter guru mate.
