06 Triumph Rocket III
Good Morning all from Mid-Michigan, USA.

I just recently purchased an '06 Triumph Rocket III with 6000 miles on it from Illinois and I gotta say, its unlike any bike I have ever rode.

Two years ago I was in an accident with my custom VTX 1800r and ended up totalling it out. So now I am back in the saddle with this monstrous beast and I am loving every second.

I hope to learn a lot from this forum and hopefully find a few riding groups.

I got into riding about 7 years ago when I met my wife and her beautiful Honda Shadow 650. She got me into riding and so I was borrowing a 1980 Honda CB 900 as my first bike. Then I moved up to the VTX 1800 and am now on a Rocket III. Thanks for having me and I hope to meet some of you soon.

Welcome, from Germany and soon to be Hawaii! She truly is an amazing machine. How do people keep finding these older, low-mile models??

Oh and keep a lookout for issues with Second gear. The early years had problems with that.

Hello Rich and welcome from VA. It's not too late to scoot over to the East side of PA for the Triumph National Rally in Oley. I will be there tomorrow.

G'day and Welcome from one of the Aussies ... good girl you got by the sound of it. Seems lots of women seem hell-bent on keeping their blokes off motorcycles , lucky you I reckon.

Yessir. She has since upgraded to a VTX 1300, which we had to trade out shocks and get her a custom seat so she could stand. Shes only 4'11" lol.
