@TriumPhil he said it locked up for no reason so I'm guessing he wasn't on the brake? Sounds more to me like the bearings or final drive. A bike that old, never ridden I'm guessing also was never lubedand everything dried out and then self destructed when he started riding it?

Actually, Roxy first said this, "I actually just had a wreck with my Rocket from the rear wheel suddenly locking up. Locked up at 55-60 and high sided. And it hurt..", which didn't really specify. Since he clarified what caused the lock-up in his last post, I can only say that I wasn't trying to second guess him and thank the good Lord that he had the skills or just good luck to walk away (limp, maybe?) with his life from a FUBAR mishap!!!
