New R3 owner

Welcome from Kansas. The ole sled aint what she used to be.....

Being totally objective here, but the '09 is easily the best model. All the bugs had been ironed out just before they wrecked them in 2010 with he Roadster. Another Aussie welcome. Looks good with the Jardine exhaust.

Oi.........
Your just ***en jealous Richard.
Great bike all around

Welcome from western NY and congrats on the bike. It'll change your life.

Upstate NY here..Rochester area. My thanks for the warm welcome....have a couple of questions....

1) Corbin rumble seat....when I travel with the wife she like a backrest and there are no removeable ones for non touring models..here good and bad on this...also, can you wrap a bag to rest portion? Can't tell from pics how strong it is but I ahve to assume if it's a back rest for a passanger it has a bit of ass to it.

2) Yep...just 200 plus miles on it when bought from dealer .....couldn't resist as the price was 11K with the full Jardine upgrade and re-map. They also took my VROD in trade which I was glad to get rid of.

3) Noticed when the bike is cold and warming that there is an odd click and the idle seems to reset..my guess is some kind of choke engage but not sure..jsut curious....only does this at start when overnight cold.

Thats it for now folks...glad to be here.

Maybe the Stepper Motor dropping back the throttle linkage to idle.
Try lifting the tank and spray a little silicone lubricant on the throttle body linkages
