New R3 owner and huge fan

I was just in Omaha

Welcome to the ride! I was home on rotation and went to Omaha for a volleyball tournament with my daughter. We had a good time I really love the brewery down in the market district very good beer especially the firehouse brew and good food as well. Enjoy it!

I used to have the Roadster Screen and matching Corbin bags that I would put on for trips and such, but I've never been one to ride behind a windscreen, and the Corbins, as nice looking as they are, were too easily scratched by kid's bicycles, animals, etc..

So.. I run the fly screen, sold/traded the Corbins for Leatherlykes (thanks Sunshine!), and went the Jardine route also. The Leatherlykes aren't really stylish, but they hold a bunch of stuff, go off/on in seconds, and I can sit them around the shop or garage without worrying about them getting scratched up because they are tough!

So, now I can run naked most all the time, and when a trip comes up, or it's Winter and I need a place to throw Winter gear when I get to work, I just slap the Leatherlykes on and go..

Another Welcome from Texas!.. And, like Snuff said.. We need pics (require proof?) of your Rocket... lol It's always a blast to ride, and you got a great deal!

Welcome to the fun!!

Regarding the touring vs naked question:

I have the Corbin Fleetliner which works great and looks good, too. Another big plus is that it can be removed in less than 5 minutes.

I also have the Leatherlykes and really like them. They come off in seconds and they can carry a lot of stuff.

Bags?

I've not placed much thought in the care and feeding of the bags...as far as leather bags go...KDrives also look reasonable. The off in seconds...I presume you would need the Easy Brackets? Are these brackets rigid?

Dragger, that tire looks perfect in those pictures ... what size and make is it?

It's a Riken Raptor Z in 225/55-16. It seems to be one of the most commonly used by darksiders. The sweet spot on it is 28-30 psi. I've got over 13k on mine and it still looks new. Cost me $94 incl tax and $10 to mount.
