2005 Triumph Rocket 3
My 2005 R3 has been sitting for 1.5 years I've installed a new battery, power comes on, but "clicks" when I try to start. Any advice on where to begin would be appreciated.

Thanks.

charge the battery real good.
then we will see if there is something

even though they are new don't mean they will start the rocket
they have to be full charge to start the rocket.
You were 100% correct. Thank you for the advice. Going to put some sea foam in the tank, figure out how to change the oil, and get back on the road.

So, now I have a new problem.....
The Rocket started when fully charged, so I thought all was well. Today is a new day I checked the tender, battery charged and optimized, and the Rocket won't start. Although this time it isn't just a simple click that I'm hearing, but it sounds like it's trying to turn over and then nothing. Any advice would be appreciated.

Just because it is new doesn't mean that it is a good battery
Check battert voltage while trying to start
If it drops below 10 volts it is not going to start.
Also you might try jumping it let it charge for ten minutes b4 trying to start.

Check your battery terminal connections are clean & tight. I read on another board about loose battery terminals & the bike not starting.
