2007 with a 'silver' engine? Thought the silver ones disappeared in 2006 along with some of the defects that had shown up on the early models. Maybe wrong but I'm sure you'll get a lot better advice from the more knowledgeable on here...

My 2007 that is now owned by my son. Silver engine. I believe he has about 36K on it now but hasn't ridden it for quite some time. Being stationed at the Pentagon and living in Maryland, with a 2 hour commute each way, he hasn't had much time to get out to ride. Thankfully neither he nor I have ever had any issues with it save for a TPS that went out on me with under 5k. Repair was covered under warranty. I've offered to buy it back from him should he discontinue riding.

Told you s
There you go, far more knowledge than I!!

The red with black is a color combo I would love you have. Really anything over the matte black would be welcomed.

Maybe the classics had silver engines beyond 2006. My 2005 turbo rocket has a black engine and is the same engine since new

Thanks guys. She really is a beauty. I bought her in 2007 at Pensacola Triumph/Ducati. My daughter bought a beautiful Speedmaster at the same time. She had sold her Harley to her brother but then learned that the Blazing a Trail Combat Helo Association Riders Group was honoring her fiance, who had been killed in Iraq in 2006, at Daytona Bike Week. I flew out to attend and we bought the bikes together, riding to Ft Rucker to meet up with the rest of the riders and then on to Daytona.

There was a Blue/White Classic with a black engine sitting next to it on the showroom floor that I preferred. The salesman told me a Soldier returning from Iraq had called to say he would buy it but since he hadn't put any money down yet, I could have it. Nope I told him. I wouldn't buy a bike out from under a Soldier returning from the Sandbox and I was not disappointed with the silver engine Classic Tourer. She's fast and furious.

Mitzy, I always thought that gray was a beautiful color. Fine machine she is.
