i got my GT mid Jan this year, have not had a problem with it yet, everything just does what it is supposed to, very quickly

Yes, I agree, newer engines are very reliable, technology rocks...

Got the gt version and I love it done over 3000 miles in 4 months would have done more but work got in the way take the plunge you wont regret it

Congrats, not bad 3K miles is great.
Can you tell me how is to ride GT with foot foward controls? Is it comfortable, do you think one would need a mid-control foot peg for better position or that is a myth.

Just to share some happiness and news...
PURCHASED my R3GT in Illinois, it can only get here by MID-JANUARY 21, so it will be a long and tedious wait, but DONE DEAL.
