New BMW R18 cruiser

Like grit! . But you are correct - many many years ago when I was an RAC/ACU riding instructor. We had a loss when a girl coming to the course had her scarf tangle in the rear wheel of her scooter - broke her neck.
Oh dang, that is horrible irony and a bad way to go.

I owned an R1200GS before my R3T. Best motorcycle I ever owned. Before that I had a K1200RS, also a great bike. Also enjoyed the older airheads, easiest maintenance of anything. Some complain about the reliability of BMWs, but of the 5 I owned, none ever let me down.

Maintenance is the key like with all other bikes. I have had friends own the GS 1100 and Anthony own the GS 1200 and they are happy. This bike is too tall for me. Now this cruiser might be just fine. I never go over 90 so I could live with it. The mufflers have to go. I think they made them butt ugly so you would have to change them.

Thought they may have learned after their first "effort"
