Deer are becoming more and more common here too. I'm seeing them almost every weekend when travelling in the hills.

Sorry to hear of your accident and wish a good recovery. There are all kinds of animals to hit around hear, luckily I’ve only hit the little ones. Close encounters with deer, bear and wild turkeys have had me pretty scared but haven’t hit the big one yet.
