New Avon Cobra Chrome - any good
It does look like the crown radius on the new Chrome is similar to the Excedra certainly a flatter radius than the current Cobra tires.

I for one am keen to put a set on and try them out.
 
CHALLENGE - who is gonna be the first Captain with a new chrome rubber.

But hey they also need to provide first impressions in the dry and then in the wet.

Who is up for the challenge - I know I am but hey I have to wait another 3 weeks at least until the importer has stock.

Mate - Scott (aka @warp9.9 ) did a conversion to 18" ages ago. And the C/F wheels are 18". But I feel that a 200/55ZR17 on the rear would be outstanding. I have a rim but the only place I know that does them with an EC certificate of Homologation is DEGET in Germany. Not WICKED expensive - but with my Guzzi in bits and having a new car to pay for - well a 17" rim is not URGENT.
